Unknown Suspect
On 2.08.26, at approximately 1:37 a.m., JSO responded to the 300 block of E Bay Street in reference to a report of a male unconscious on the ground. Upon arrival, an adult male was observed lying on his back on the sidewalk near the curb in front of EB Lounge. The individual was semi-conscious, appeared intoxicated, and had visible swelling to the left cheekbone and forehead. The subject was disoriented and was unable to communicate with officers. It was reported that the victim was observed to be in a physical altercation with the pictured suspect. The the victim was ultimately transported by Rescue to a local hospital for further treatment. Officers were advised by medical staff that the individual was in critical condition and required emergency surgery.

On 01/31/2026 at approximately 8:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Cassat Avenue in reference to a theft from a business. Store staff reported that a bag containing approximately $15,000 in cash was taken from behind the counter. The theft was discovered after the complainant was unable to locate the bag and reviewed surveillance footage. Video showed three unknown Black female suspects entering the store around the same time. Two suspects distracted employees by requesting assistance away from the registers, leaving the counter area unattended. While the employees were distracted, a third suspect was observed going behind the counter and removing the red bag containing the cash.

On 02/02/2026 at approximately 2:25 p.m., JSO was dispatched to the 4000 block of Oldfield Crossing Drive in reference to a theft. Store asset protection reported that 01/15/2026 at approximately 8:19 p.m., two unknown white female suspects entered the store through the front entrance. One suspect was described as tall with long brown hair wearing a black jacket and black pants, while the second was shorter with brown hair, wearing all black and a black hat. The suspects selected clothing and electronics near the self-checkout area, obtained a shopping cart, and continued placing additional merchandise inside. They later added two small appliances from the appliance department, briefly separated to gather more items, and then regrouped. The suspects exited the store through the main doors, passing all points of sale without paying for the items.

On 02/02/2026 at approximately 2:25 p.m., JSO was dispatched to the 4000 block of Oldfield Crossing Drive in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with store asset protection, who advised that on 01/19/2026 at approximately 7:00 a.m., an unknown white male suspect entered the store wearing a camouflage jacket and tan pants and was described as fair-skinned with red or blond hair. The suspect selected multiple tools from the tool department and placed them into a shopping cart. The suspect used wire cutters to remove a security device from a portable band saw and placed the item into the cart. The suspect then left the wire cutters behind and exited the store through the main entrance without rendering payment for the merchandise.

On 01/29/2026 at approximately 7:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 11700 block of Central Parkway in reference to a fraud incident. An unknown suspect had called the business on 01/23/2026 and placed a pickup order for building materials using an active business account without authorization. Later that day, an unknown Hispanic female arrived in a white Dodge Caravan with no company identifiers and partially collected the order before leaving the area toward Beach Boulevard. After her departure, employees realized several items were left behind and contacted the phone number listed on the order, but the suspect never returned to complete the pickup. On 01/28/2026, the legitimate account holder contacted the business to dispute the charges and denied placing the order. Video footage confirmed the unauthorized pickup, and the business is working internally to reimburse the affected account.

On 01/17/2026, a JSO officer while working in an off-duty capacity at the 10300 block of Southside Blvd responded to a grand theft. The complainant advised that the two suspects committed thefts on two separate occasions. On 01/15/2026, the suspects entered the store and removed approximately 50 assorted candles, placing them into large bags. The suspects committed the same theft again on 01/16/2026. The complainant advised the total value exceeded $1,000.

On January 15, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a delayed theft at a business located in the 400 block of Monument Rd. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant, a loss prevention employee (FFS 119). The complainant advised that two unknown individuals, a white male and a Black female, entered the business and attempted to steal merchandise. Surveillance video footage was reviewed with the complainant. The footage showed two suspects entering the store. The first suspect was a white male wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, blue jeans, and brown boots, with a visible black eye. The second suspect was a Black female wearing a black sweatshirt, pink hat, blue jeans, and black boots. The suspects were observed moving throughout the store while placing various items into a shopping cart. The items included clothing and apparel, baby monitors, health and beauty products, and a coffee maker. The suspects exited the store passing all points of sale.

On December 3, 2025, at approximately 9:35 am, the reporting officer responded to a burglary at a business located in the 7200 block of Old Plank Rd (FFS 119). Contact was made with the complainant, who advised that an unknown suspect was observed on trail camera footage entering the property through a hole in the fence between approximately 3:37 am and 4:17a.m. The complainant further advised that multiple pieces of equipment stored on the property had several lines cut, and various metal components used for manufacturing were taken from inside Connex containers. The complainant stated the exact value of the stolen property is unknown; however, the estimated cost to repair the damaged equipment exceeds $1,000, and the cost to remanufacture the stolen components is approximately $100 per part.
