Title: Petit Theft
Location: 400 Monument Rd
Description: On 2.17.2026, JSO responded to the 400 block of Monument Rd in reference to a theft. Officers arrived and spoke with a loss prevention associate who advised that 1:33 p.m., the unknown suspect entered the store, grabbed a cart, and began shopping. The suspect then grabbed a large rug from the home décor section of the store. When going through self-checkout, the suspect utilized a bar code for a smaller rug that was $150 cheaper.
